Fort Worth Home Inspector

Buyer Inspections

Give us a call at 817-319-6278 and we will handle all scheduling. We handle 2 inspections daily with start times at 9am or 2pm. The length of the inspections varies depending on the size of the home, but the average inspection takes around 3 hours. You are more than welcome to attend the inspection, but you are not required to be there. We carry a SUPRA key and will be able to access the home for the inspection. Give us a call and we will decide on a day and time that is convenient.  We will then contact the Showing Service to request the inspection time and and email confirmation to you when our request is approved. We most commonly take payment at the inspection, but we can also take credit card information over the phone if you are unable to attend. Your report will be emailed to you within 24 hours of the inspection.

1-Year Warranty Inspections

It's standard practice for builders to offer a 1-year warranty on their new homes. It is also very common for homeowners to have an inspection before that year is over to identify any items that may need repair so that they maximize the warranty. Any reputable builder will repair any item that shows up in an inspection report written by a certified professional home inspector.
If you did not have an independent, third-party inspection before you moved in, then this is your chance to make up for it! We will follow our normal inspection process and produce our standard report or a 'List of Repairs' report, if you prefer. Give us a call or save yourself some time and Schedule a Home Inspection right now on the website.

Sewer Camera Inspections

A Sewer Camera Inspection can be an invaluable service added to a home inspection. Homes in the Fort Worth area that have cast iron drain pipes very commonly have breaks, low spots, tree roots or just plain age-related problems that can be extremely expensive to address. Plumbers in the area charge an average price of around $350, but Infinity Home Inspections can provide this service at a much more affordable rate as part of your home inspection.

A sewer scope can be the most valuable part of the home inspection in some cases. I have seen brand new construction with slope and breakage issues. Most homes built in the 50's or earlier in this area have cast iron drains that have been damaged by tree roots or foundation movement, or they are just aging out. 70 years is a pretty good run, especially when you consider what they've had to deal with!

Sewer Camera New PVC

This is a PVC drain pipe that was scoped at a 1-Year Warranty Inspection. This guy is brand new to the world; he's got no aches or pains and he's pretty sure life will be great!

Sewer Camera 90s PVC

Here is what PVC drains from the 90's commonly look like. Nobody thinks this guy is cute anymore. His back hurts a little when he wakes up, but he's doing pretty well, all things considered.

Sewer Camera Cast Iron

This is a cast iron drain from the early 50's. You can be mad at him if you want, but he's over 70 and he really doesn't care what anybody else thinks any more. He's served his country, he's seen friends and family come and go, and he's tired all the time, but he's still here. When they look like this (and they commonly do), we should probably just pat them on the back, thank them for their service and get ready to replace them soon. Father Time is undefeated.
